I have a difficult time with air-conditioned spaces

Why buy a ceiling fan for inside your home?There are many reasons to think of why you should get a ceiling fan.Coming from Europe, I have a difficult time with air-conditioned spaces.In almost every office space and shopping mall the air-conditioner has only one cool-setting, and that is freezing. Dont get me wrong, I love that I dont sweat when shopping or when Im working behind my desk. It is really comfy. But why does it have to be that cold and not 5 degrees warmer?One of the great things about summer is the sun, sea and summer clothing. No jackets, vests or shawls to complete your outfit. Just easy breezy sleeveless days. But now I still have to bring a jacket, not for outside but now for inside.But also at home its always difficult to reach the right temperature. My air-conditioner is opposite of my couch. It is always blowing in my face. It is either too cold or too warm. I often end up sitting on the couch with the air-conditioner on and under a blanket. I must be honest it was warmer then my living room. But sitting there, talking, drinking and having a good time, I was quite comfortable. I didnt need a jacket and I didnt sweat.My friend told me about a ceiling fan they once had in their living room. It was too loud and the lowest setting was to strong. They could not read the newspaper, shopping notes popped up in the strangest places and she had the feeling that it almost blew her contact lenses out of her eyes.Fans dont reduce the temperature of the room; however, fans make spaces feel cooler because air movement evaporates moisture from the skin. It makes you feel as if the air in the room is about 4 degrees Fahrenheit cooler.It consumes much less energy than air conditioning, which is really nice for your electricity bill. They are not only useful during the hot summers, but also during winters; fans can re-circulate the warm air accumulated around the ceiling to nearer to the floor.Ceiling fans come in a variety of different types like different shapes, colors and with or without light. You can also choose between 2, 3, 4, and 5 blade ceiling fans.Since I wasnt quite sure what style I had in mind, I found an online furniture shop called SofaSale which has a variety of fans that could fit in well in my decoration. I fell in love with the Aeratron E503 Ceiling Fan. Its look is unique and modern. It received multiple awards for design and also for energy saving. In the showroom at SofaSale Hong Kong I had a look at it, as expected this ceiling fan was the one! Very important, it has noiseless movements of the fan blades and a very comfortable low setting.
